Kia Track’ster Concept Images Unveiled

What happens when you add a dash of pepper to a Kia Soul? That answer may well be evident in the latest batch of teaser images released by Kia in advance of the opening of the Chicago Auto Show this month.

Currently dubbed the Kia Track’ster, there are no current plans to put this into production despite rumours of a throaty 250-hp engine. The Korean automaker has simply stated that this concept is meant to showcase Kia’s new design direction.

Kia Soul’s presence on Canadian roads has grown each year since its introduction in 2009 with over 11,000+ Kia Soul units sold Canada-wide in 2011. Many are expecting Kia to launch a topless version of the Soul this year, and perhaps inspiration for a Soul’ster will be taken from this concept. Time will tell I guess, stay tuned.
